The cabin also includes a spacious game room on the lower level with direct access to its own patio. The game room includes foosball, a self-scoring dartboard, large Smart TV, and several board games. Outside enjoy the 8-person hot tub, brand new ping-pong table, two-person saucer-shaped hammock, and corn hole. When dusk comes, walk the property with fully-lit paths throughout the grounds. As you walk through the front door you are greeted by a free-flowing living space combining kitchen, living room, dining room sunroom, laundry room, and one of two king primary suites with en suite. KITCHEN: Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances - including various spices, toaster, crockpot, blender, and much more. Also includes a spacious, quartz countertop with bar stools and a beautiful copper sink. DINING ROOM: The dining table overlooks the forest, just off the sunroom, which seats 6 people comfortably. LIVING ROOM: The living room includes a remote-start fireplace, leather furniture, and 55" Smart TV with access to various streaming services. UPPER-DECK SUNROOM: The screened-in sunroom includes a full-sized bbq, outdoor seating, and a 40" Smart TV. MAIN BEDROOM: The suite you’ll wish you had at home! Enjoy a king bed, cozy rocking chair, private en suite, walk-in closet, and in-room washer & dryer. French doors open to a screened-in porch—perfect for peaceful mornings or relaxing nights. LAUNDRY: Stackable washer and dryer. BEDROOM 2: Wake up to views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in this spacious upstairs suite featuring a luxurious king bed, private en suite, and an abundance of built-in storage. Vaulted ceilings and warm wood tones add charm, while the tiled walk-in shower offers spa-like comfort after a day of exploring. A cozy, elevated retreat designed for total relaxation. BEDROOM 3/Loft: Perched in the loft, this charming bedroom feels like a private treehouse retreat. With its whitewashed vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and soft natural light, it’s cozy and inviting. The plush bed, vintage-style dresser, and warm touches make it the perfect spot to relax, read, or simply take in the peaceful forest views just outside the window. BEDROOM 4: Located in the basement with two twin-over-twin, log bunk beds made from Wisconsin pine and built by hand. MAIN FLOOR BATHROOM: Elegant bathroom with a freestanding porcelain clawfoot tub and separate slate full-size shower, sink & mirror combo, and stackable washer and dryer. UPSTAIRS BATHROOM: Modern bathroom with walking shower, sink, and storage area. DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM: Beautiful full-size bathroom with freestanding porcelain clawfoot tub/shower combination. LOWER DECK: Ping-pong table, corn hole, large outdoor seating area, 8-person picnic table, two outdoor portable propane heaters, and propane above ground fire pit. GAME ROOM: Foosball, dartboard, mini fridge, 78" Smart TV, and large seating area. OFFICE: Located on lower level with desk, office chair, additional seating, and high-speed wifi. The cabin includes central heating and air conditioning throughout. A tankless water heater provides endless hot water. No cold showers here! BACKYARD: Includes an 8-person hot tub with multiple jets that will have you relaxing in no time. There is a large fire pit with plenty of seating for everyone. Just down the path is another large deck with a two-person, saucer-shaped hammock...a great place to meditate, read a book, or just take in the peaceful sounds of the forest. ATTENTION: As Goose Island Hideaway is a private, gated community, and for the safety of residents and guests alike, each new guest will be asked to provide information, including vehicle, driver’s license, and contact information. Again, this is requested by the community for the safety of everyone. IN ADDITION, this information is needed in order to supply you with your party’s private gate code(s) to enter the main gate during your stay. NOTE: We do allow pets, dogs only. There is a one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $100 for each dog. Limit of 2 dogs. SECOND NOTE: Firewood is NOT provided, so be sure to bring your own firewood for the outdoor fire pit.
